My name is Karen Boyhen and I love making things, especially oil pastel and mixed media drawings, which are often described as emotive and charmingly naive. After 15 years in the visual communications field collaborating with many creative people on a variety of projects and in several cities, I'm now applying my images to these products in order to share my vision with more people everywhere.
If you're wondering where the name "Girl-hen" came from: it's a twist on my last name of "Boyhen". I grew up in Connecticut, but now proudly live and work in Cincinnati, OH.
